By tailoring tube selection to your application, we ensure optimal thermal performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
✔ Removable Cover Plate – Box formed by header frame and tube sheet; cover plate is bolted on for removal during cleaning/maintenance. Nozzles can be on the frame or the cover plate. Standard limit ~50 bar, but higher is possible with special designs.
✔ Welded Bonnet – Bonnet header is welded to the tube sheet, with process nozzles on the bonnet. No access to tubes or tube-to-tube sheet joints. Suitable up to ~100 bar.
✔ Plug Header – Fully welded box header with removable plugs opposite each tube for cleaning. Suitable for high-pressure applications up to ~250 bar.
Hunt Thermal designs and manufactures all air-cooled heat exchangers in-house, fully customised to meet each project’s specifications and certified standards, including ASME VIII Div.1, EN13445, PD5500 % API 661 .
